FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Be sure to eat a good dinner before General Admission starts at 8pm. We will have tables of chips and snacks to keep you going but not enough to replace a meal! The food is included in your ticket price. The VIP reception will have light hors d’oeuvres.

Since this is a night club environment we don’t encourage people to bring kids. But just like at Burning Man, some people will. If you would bring your kids to Burning Man, feel free to bring them to Yuri’s Night. We are only checking your age if you want to drink.

Yuri’s Night is a grassroots annual event with hundreds of parties around the globe (and beyond!) centered around April 12, the anniversary of the first human spaceflight and the first launch of the space shuttle. These events celebrate all that humanity brings with us as we explore the cosmos: music, art, science, culture, and each other! Local groups, science centers, museums, NGOs, and other non-profit groups independently produce events in the US and worldwide. We use space to bring the world together, to empower the greatest parts of who we are, and give vision to where we are going.

Yuri’s Night Space Coast will be filled with dancing, drinks, art, costumes, and all things space. You might bump into an astronaut, a rocket scientist or Mars rover mission controller at the party… You start at the pre-party, then listen to a space explorer share her experience first hand, then we bring the lights down for you to take your own epic journey. Every room will be filled with art and immersive entertainment.  DJs will be spinning until midnight and we will be dancing under the Space Shuttle Atlantis celebrating space, art and the power to bring us all together here on our beloved home world.
